About Turtle Island

Turtle Island is an island used for the conservation of green turtles, because the population of green turtles in Indonesia is almost extinct. It is located in South Kuta at the corner of Tanjung Benoa, Bali. The place is managed independently by the local community of Tanjung Benoa on Perhutani land. Surrounding the turtle island is also a mangrove forest area that is cared for and protected by the community and the turtle island staff.

How to Get to Turtle Island

To get to Turtle Island, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes  from Tanjung Benoa Beach by a boat. The rental price of one boat is around 400.000 - 500.000 Rupiah with a capacity of 8-10 people. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Tanjung Benoa beach while riding the boat.

Ticket Price

Turtle Island is open every day around 09.00 - 17.00 WIB. To enter the Turtle Island visitors must pay an entrance ticket with prices ranging from;

Local tourists:

• 10,000 Rupiah for adults
• 5,000 Rupiah for children 

 International tourists:

•  20,000 Rupiah for adults 
• 10,000 Rupiah for children.
